Candy Cane Lane Test Knit for Paula of Autumn Poppy Designs
Skirt Pattern by me! Knit in Briggs & Little Regal in Midnight Blue, held double
Easy Eyelet Yoke Dress by Knitatude, knit in Sweet Fibre’s advent calendar held double with a Falkland Merino Fingering. So in love with how this dress is turning out. I put the waistline a little higher to make sure it would hit me where I feel it is most flattering. I also modified the neck so it would have a little more room and structure.
Sweater Segment: Just a quick note on dyelots.
These three skeins of Drops Kid-Silk are all the same colour, but 3 different dyelots. Trish was putting together an order this week and we were surprised at how different the colours were. This is why it is important to get enough yarn for your project all at once, so it is all in the same dyelot. Even if you can get more of the same yarn, the different dyelot may be significantly different!
