WIPS (Works in Progress)

  • Fox cardigan in Holst Garn Supersoft. Made the swatch last September, finally making the sweater

  • Also Weaving a black llama scarf. Super boring to look at - black warp, black weft.

Store News

  • The Spring Sock Stashdown KAL with Bernadette ended on May 31st. Look out for her next podcast to see who won that prize. We are awarding a prize for the Chatter Thread - could the winner please contact Glenda to sort out the details of your prize!
  • The Fix, Frog, Finish KAL will continue until the end of June. If you are doing Stash Dash this year, remember that if you make an alteration to a garment - like knitting a new button band or lengthening sleeves, you can count the yardage of the entire garment towards your total (please double check all the rules of Stash Dash in the Knit Girllls Podcast, just in case we are incorrect!)
  • New KAL starting in July: Holst-a-long! Knit anything with one of the three Holst Garn Yarns. It will go from July to the end of September - this is just in time for Knit City, so maybe you can make a Knit City Sweater (ie: a sweater finished just in time to show it off at Knit City). Any project will count, we will confirm the rules in the next episode, but we are thinking there should be extra points for extra yardage.
