WCW Bingo-A-Long 2020
Bing 2020 has started! The board is available for download from our store website. There are 2 challenge squares again, and you need to sign up and declare your challenges by the end of January.
The main rules for bingo are as follows:
- You must declare your two challenges the same week (month?) you sign up!
2 Important New Rules:
- You need to be a member of the Wet Coast Woolies Group to play.
Notes on special squares:
Pop Culture: anything influenced by a TV show, movie, music video, Video game, etc.
‘Trendy’ items are the super-popular patterns - like the Find your Fade shawl, or the granny stripe crochet blankets. Here is your excuse to jump on the bandwagon of one of these super-popular patterns.
“Winter Holiday Item” - a gift for someone, or an ornament/decoration. Christmas, Hannukah, Diwali, Solstice - doesn’t matter which holiday. We are changing this from last year - You can start the project earlier, but you have to finish it during July.
“Multiple Strands” means holding 2 or more strands of yarn together at once.
’Textured Yarn’ - fur, mohair, bouclé, etc.
’Different style’ - Continental, Portuguese, Throwing, etc. Knit a full project using something other that the one you normally use.
’Unusual Object“ - take inspiration from our store and knit a random thing… Maybe a wine box cozy, or a clock, or a dissected frog? Go nuts and impress us. ;)
‘Choose your own Challenge’ squares - Decide what you want to do, and tell us by January 31st. This can be to finish a specific project, or try a certain skill, or anything you like. Please keep with the spirit of the game, and actually make it a challenge for you and your skill level.
What are our personal challenges for ourselves or each other in our crafting for 2020?
Don’t forget that our Boxing Week Sale runs until January 5th, so there is still time to get in on some great deals!
