Holst Garn Tides is a blend of pure new wool and silk. It is a very soft yarn with the small dots of silk giving it a tweedy look.
Knit it single stranded as a fingering weight yarn, or double stranded as a worsted weight yarn on 4 - 4.5 mm needles.
The yarn contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. The oil and excess dye will disappear at the first wash - and the yarn will bloom and become soft.
