This rustic-spun, 2-ply yarn is made from the wool of Western Canadian Sheep. It is spun and dyed in a historic mill in Alberta. I use this yarn to make hiking socks - Mike has deemed these to be his favourite socks!
Knit it on a 4mm needle for a dense, sturdy fabric, or on a 6mm for a more drapey shawl or blanket. Be sure to knit and block a swatch before using this yarn in a larger project as it blooms and softens once washed.
Please note that 'Natural Black' is the colour of undyed black wool, and is really more of a dark brown. 'Dyed Black' is more of a true black, as it is light wool that has been dyed black.
