Pen Style Felting Needle

The barbed edges of a felting needle push and pull wool fibres, causing them to felt together.  Needle felting can be used to make appliques out of wool roving and apply them to wool fabric, to create 3-dimensional objects such as dolls or flowers, or even to make eyes, noses, and tails for knit creatures.  This pen-style felting tool gives you added precision while felting.  It comes with three needles, but you can easily remove one or two of them when doing very detailed work.

Use the needle tool with a felting mat to help reduce breakage of the needles.  Needle refills are also available.

Please take care when using felting needles, as they are very sharp and can cause serious injury.
