Hiya Hiya interchangeable needle cables from each set (Sock, Small, Large, etc.) are sized specifically for needle tips within those size ranges. Tip adapters allow you to convert the cables to be used with tips from larger size ranges.
Please note that the Sock kit comes with a set of Sock-to-Small tip adapters; you can then add a Small-to-Large adapter to use these cables with large tips.
