Fingerless mittens are perfect for Vancouver's climate - they keep your hands warm while leaving your fingers free to do your daily tasks. In this 3-session class you will learn how to make fingerless mittens using either double pointed needles or two circulars. There is a little bit of colourwork in these mittens, which brings the difficulty level to intermediate.
Over three 1.5 hour sessions we will complete one fingerless mitten. Students will be required to do knitting homework between classes.
This class is intended for intermediate level knitters. Students must know how to cast-on and off, knit, purl, pick up stitches, and work basic increases and decreases. Experience knitting in the round is strongly recommended. Other necessary skills will be covered in class. 4 students per class.
