Aldous is a relaxed pullover that is designed to be worn with 2-4" of ease. Designed by Isabell Kraemer, this sweater features a faux-seam detail down the back, and can be knit with either a straight or A-line silhouette.
This three-session class is designed for intermediate knitters, who have experience with knitting in the round, and working from commercial patterns. You must be familiar with all the basic knitting skills including increasing, decreasing, working in the round, and swatching.
The three classes are spread out over a 5 week span to allow time for knitting homework between classes. We will discuss all aspects of the sweater in the class, however, completion of the sweater will depend on how quickly you knit.
Please bring a blocked swatch to the first class. This swatch should be knit in the round - Ysolda has a great tutorial on how to do this.
Cost: $90 plus taxes and materials (see below). The cost of the pattern is included in the class fee.
Instructor: Glenda McDonald
Dates & Time:
Thursdays, January 16th, 30th, and February 13th, 6:30 to 8:30pm
The Aldous pattern is designed by Isabell Kraemer. A copy of the pattern is included in the class fee - we will purchase a copy for you from Ravelry.com.

This sweater comes in finished sizes ranging from 33.75" up to 62.25", and is worn with 2-4" of positive ease (ie: the finished sweater should be 2-4" bigger than your actual bust size). Please consult the pattern for information on how much yarn you will require for your size. Please talk to one of our staff if you require assistance.
