Learn to knit socks from the cuff-down using double pointed needles! This is the traditional method used for making socks, complete with a heel flap and turned heel.
Over three 1.5 hour sessions we will complete one worsted-weight sock. Students will be required to do knitting homework between classes. If you wish to work on two socks at once, please bring a second set of DPNs.
This class is intended for intermediate level knitters. Students must know how to cast-on and off, knit, purl, pick up stitches, and work basic increases and decreases. Experience knitting in the round is strongly recommended. Other necessary skills will be covered in class. 4 students per class.
