Mineville Wool Project is the brainchild of Fleece Artist’s Kathryn Thomas and Emily Dempsey. Over the years Fleece Artist was given the opportunity to sell unique yarns in limited quantities. This was so successful that they decided to launch a whole new project dedicated to these special lots. They named it Mineville Wool Project since they both live and work in Mineville, Nova Scotia.
This aran weight yarn is a luxurious blend of fibres including wool, mohair, and silk. It is very soft to the touch and has a lovely sheen. These are double-size skeins with 200m per skein - one would make a scarf, while two skeins would make a very generous shawl.
