Mota by Wooldreamers is a yarn made entirely in the heart of Castilla - La Mancha. Thanks to the farms being located within 150 km of the mill, Mota is produced with one of the smallest carbon footprints on the market.
Spun from carefully selected fleeces from nearby dairy ranches, Mota shows that this commonly disposed wool has great potential. The resulting yarn is a soft and lofty 3 ply, “Z” twist worsted that will give each project a special connection to the origins of their materials.
Mota is next-to-skin soft and has great stitch definition on texture. It is also a good choice for colourwork.
Some colourways are dyed on both the white and grey base. For instance, colour 718 is dyed on white and colour 718G is dyed on grey.
