The wool used in Manchelopi comes from Manchega sheep flocks that graze the lands around Castilla-La Mancha, where Wooldreamers is located - it's a fully traceable and very locally produced yarn.
The unspun 2-ply structure of the yarn allows for it to be worked at a variety of
gauges, with 1 or 2 strands, depending on the desired fabric.
Another option is to use one or two strands together with a silk mohair, for really soft and airy garments projects.
Composition: 100% Spanish Manchega Wool
Gauge: With 1 strand: 22-26 stitches/4". With 2 strands: 15-21 stitches/4"
Recommended Needle Size: With 1 strand: 3-4mm/US2.5-6. With 2 strands: 4.5-6mm/US7-10
