Order Processing
All orders are dispatched from Vancouver within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays. During peak periods or busy launches, processing times may be slightly longer. If there is ever a significant delay, we’ll be in touch.
Shipping Method
- Tracked shipping only. We do not offer untracked or lettermail options.
- Shipping rates are flat-rate by province/territory and calculated at checkout.
- Free shipping applies per order over $200 CAD (before tax, after discounts).
- All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Carriers
Orders are shipped using Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator.
Carrier selection is made at our discretion based on destination, service reliability, and package requirements. We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate carrier for each order.
Delivery Timelines
Delivery times shown at checkout are carrier estimates only and are not guaranteed. Wet Coast Wools is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, labour disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Lost or Missing Deliveries
All orders are shipped with tracking.
- If an order has not been marked as delivered and appears delayed or lost in transit, we will open an investigation with the carrier upon request.
- If an order is marked as delivered by the carrier, Wet Coast Wools is not responsible for loss, theft, or non-receipt.
- If a carrier investigation determines that a shipment is lost, any resolution will be handled in accordance with the carrier’s policies and findings.
Carrier investigations may take time and do not guarantee recovery, replacement, or refund.
Service Disruptions
In the event of carrier disruptions, including strikes or service interruptions, orders may be delayed or shipped using an alternate carrier. Shipping fees are not refundable due to carrier-related delays.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
- Address changes cannot be made after an order has dispatched.
- Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the customer’s expense.
Order Review
Customers are responsible for reviewing cart contents carefully before placing an order, including items, quantities, and shipping details. Changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed.
Notes on dye lots to consider:
- Yarn is dyed in batches, and dye lot variations may occur.
- We recommend purchasing the full quantity needed for a project in one order.
- For a single order, all skeins will be shipped from the same dye lot.
- Colours may vary due to dye lot, screen and device differences.
- We cannot guarantee matching dye lots for items purchased at a later date.
- Customers seeking a specific dye lot must contact us before placing an order.
If you have questions about shipping, pickup, availability, dye lots, or order handling, please contact us before placing your order. We cannot guarantee changes or accommodations once an order has been placed.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before processing only.
- Once an order has entered processing, it cannot be cancelled.
- Requests to cancel must be submitted promptly after placing the order. We cannot guarantee cancellation if processing has begun.
- Approved cancellations may be subject to a 10% processing fee, deducted from the order total. This policy reflects non-recoverable processing and transaction costs incurred by Wet Coast Wools at the time of purchase.
- Local pickup orders follow the same cancellation rules as shipped orders.
Combined Orders
In limited cases, additional items may be added before an order has entered processing under the conditions below.
- Customers wishing to add items must place a separate order for local pickup and note the original order number in the order notes.
- Both orders must be placed before processing begins.
- Combined fulfillment is not guaranteed and is subject to timing and operational constraints.
Shipping Fees & Free Shipping
- If shipping is charged on one or more orders, those shipping fees are non-refundable, even if orders are later combined into a single shipment.
- The free shipping threshold applies per order, not to combined totals.
- Orders placed separately will not be retroactively adjusted to qualify for free shipping.
This policy reflects non-recoverable processing and transaction costs incurred by Wet Coast Wools at the time of purchase.
Right to Refuse Fulfillment
Wet Coast Wools reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order prior to fulfillment at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of inventory errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, policy violations, or operational limitations. In such cases, any amounts paid will be refunded.
International Orders
We are not shipping outside of Canada at this time.
International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country. These charges are not included at checkout and are non-refundable.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available in Vancouver.
- Customers must wait for a “ready for pickup” notification before collecting their order.
- Orders cannot be fulfilled on the spot.
- Customers must have their order number ready at pickup.
Policy Agreement
By placing an order with Wet Coast Wools, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Shipping & Pickup policy and Return Policy. These policies apply to all orders once checkout is completed.
